Creosote Removal you can trust in Central Texas
Creosote is the number-one cause of chimney fires. We remove every stage of it — from light soot to hardened, glazed buildup — so your chimney is safe to burn.
Every time wood burns, it releases creosote that condenses and coats the inside of your flue. It builds in three stages: a flaky stage-one layer, a crunchy stage-two layer, and a hard, shiny, tar-like stage-three glaze. All three are flammable, and stage three is the one that fuels dangerous chimney fires.
We assess the buildup during the sweep and use the right tools for the job — rotary systems and proven methods for heavy, glazed creosote that a simple brush cannot touch. Removing it restores your draft, kills the campfire smell, and dramatically lowers your fire risk.

Common questions
Is creosote really dangerous?
Yes. Creosote is highly flammable and is the leading cause of chimney fires. A thick glazed layer can ignite from a single spark and burn at over 2,000°F.
How do I get rid of glazed creosote?
Hardened stage-three creosote will not come off with a standard brush. We use rotary cleaning systems and proven methods to break it down safely. Chemical-only "logs" do not fully remove it.
How can I slow creosote buildup?
Burn dry, seasoned hardwood, keep a hot, bright fire instead of a smoldering one, and have the chimney swept once a year.
