There's an animal in my chimney — what do I do?
Keep the damper closed so it cannot get into the house, and do not light a fire. Call us and we will safely remove the animal and any nest, then cap the flue so it cannot happen again.
How do I keep birds and squirrels out of my chimney?
A properly sized chimney cap with mesh sides is the permanent solution. It blocks animals while still letting smoke out.
